Guess what I did...Yep, more paint and sanding.

Though, made a breakthrough today...all the panels are painted, save for the front fender which is ****ing stupid because you have to pull the tire to do so, which means you have to jack the bike up because there's not enough clearance even on the centerstand...so a 2 person job, cause bikes get wobbly on a floor jack.

Anyways...wet sanded the tank today. Was kinda upset about how rough the final coat of paint came out (just started to get windy, and it didn't lay very well, came out gritty) Cut it gently with 400grit wet, then a full on 600 wet sanding, then a tedious 1000grit wet sanding. Looks amazing wet (it's flat white paint, but wet, it looks like a near mirror finish out in the sun)

So, dried it off, and set it on the bike, and damn does it look good, and feels way better. Now I just have to do the other 9 panels.
 


also changed my low beam projector bulbs
went from 6.65 KLUX to 7.98KLUX

I used an app on my iphone to check the luminance.

weird thing is that the high beam was 4.56 KLUX.

any ideas of why the high beam is lower, or is that because of the projector low beam??

Also has anybody taken these headlights apart to install new Halo's??????
 
got mad at it. im listening to music on the way to work watching my mulit meter for voltage. tell me why after a bit my voltage drops to high 12's? you know how hard it is to listen to a system that needs juice? its sucks
 


Bought GTX hood scoop stripes. Goofed said stripes & am awaiting a reply from AutoTrimDesign to order a replacement.

Today I'm gonna carpet my sub box and mount it. Then done with sub/amp install
 


got my spoiler back from ken ( Nyordrms )
He took and polished it up nice for me.. gotta wax it and wait for the wife to return with ma car so i can install it :D
