• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Drove to get some flowers for the Momma (wifey) and food for dinner, made waffles for breakfast then had to get some LP for the grill and some beer, lolz. Washed it real good, cleaned the carpets, mats, etc.

Guess the Wife was wondering who's day it really was... lol

:D

All in all a good day...!

Installed a HUD yesterday. And re-deleted EGR today.

I adjusted them and they are ready for their 2nd aim, im just waiting to get off of work.

Drove it. I needs to wash the filthy thing, and clay it, and polish it, and wax it. Do you see why I never wash it? yeahhh...

On another note, I can't wait for the HUD circuitboard to come in. Thanks to Chuck :) And cruising at 100 feels great btw :)

Waiting to get the oil changed in my bosses truck so its ready for a trip to Georgia tomorrow. Last sticker said 222,200. Trucks got 237,600.....ouch. and its almost a year over date.
But, car looked sexy parked in its spot at work when I left it.

worked on my friends 3500 dump truck again, its a 6.0. got the intake removed and knock sensors replaced, it had a code for injector one so while it was off ( the new one has not been delivered ) we tried to clean it only one nozzle was spraying, not 2, so after i put it all back together i notice im missing the O ring for the fuel cross over from rail to rail, sucks! put it all back together and i need to find a O ring tomorrow morning.

also changed 2 of the 4 o2 sensors.

wish the new injector was here, but its a easy swap to do later on in the week.

made some nice coin for 3 hours work, and i took my time, and had spectators the whole time.

his brother showed up for the put it back together faze, and im bouncing from side to side of the truck to torque the bolts in the right pattern ( you need to do it 2 times) and hes in my way every time. im like stand here, dont move. lol

Did you put a new knock sensor harness on? Those were also problematic when I was wrenching for GM. Going to wash and wax the GXP in about 15 min.

i tried to get the new knock sensor sub harness, but no one had one, so i checked it over good, its only got 35,000 miles on, so still kinda new for a 05. the rear plug was a bit rusty, so i sanded it up till i saw some shine to it, and put di-electrical grease on both plugs. rtv'd the plugs up, and left the foam out. as of this morning still no cel, plus it runs a sh1t load better now. so he's happy.

It's official, I drive way to much....

That makes 24k miles in 17 months. My daily work commute is 20 miles total. Idk how the hell it adds up so damn quick.
