I'm getting an odd noise from my car the last couple days. Pretty sure it's an axle self destructing. I jack it up and find the driverside rack to subframe bolt has loosened up a little. The rack itself is pretty shot and I think it needs a wheel bearing on the passenger side. Add those onto the rear cover and trans swap. LOL it's going to be a pretty full day when my Regal comes apart in the next couple weeks.

Ordered another new axle
Will call on a used rack today
Need to clean up under the car. It's only been a year and a half, but man.. an axle gooped the passengerside of the engine bay, the trans has leaked a bit and so did the engine. None of that is conducive to "clean car to work on it".
 


Just my luck...First day I've driven the Camaro in 3 months, and I have to go rescue a dead customer car at Wal-Mart Christmas Hell. Nearly got hit all the way out there, too. Phuckers.

took it to the trans shop and reluctantly had to leave it for a couple hours. but they took good care of angel and were very nice. they did not like the aftermarket headers and intake....nor did they approve of the PCM loosely sitting on the fender well.

but yeah. i'll be doing a lot with it in the coming week hopefully to resolve the problem.

what did the trans shop say was going on? inquiring minds want to know.
 


Got my sub and amp hooked up today, So glad i found this site to help me with everything. Next up HID lights, should be here Monday, then new wheels and a drop.
