• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

re-did the tails on the firebird... they look better. a wet sand and a good coat of clear should make them pop

Installed new aux unit on stock radio so now I can play mp3!! And while we were at it fixed the light on my display on radio! Seems the tab burnt out part of the line on the circuit board, so we jumped that to another source. Works beautifully now!! Im super stoked about both additions!! Can't wait to listen some GOOD music and see what time it is!! Life is gooooood. Lol

yesterday it survived downtown. scuffed the bumper. being low isnt fun kids. well, it is :D but the car takes a beating.

Let it watch again as I worked on a kinfolk to it. Then got the call from my buddy... there's an impossible to find blue car in his JY. 8 hours away. Interestingly enough..the parts may come to me.

discovered im missing two bolts out of my rear header so got new ones and put em in and than discovered missing a nut for the rear header on the stud so gotta get one of them but also changed the plugs.

going to wash her up today. get all the road crap off it from rain this week. then install a cap for my new amp, looks like it draws a lil more as my headlights were dimming on bass notes.

FYI, caps are actually a larger strain on the charging system. It is effectively a second battery that the alternator has to keep charged.

you too lol. My GTP has got to be one of theee most aggravating cars I've ever owned and I cant save money to move on to something better.
I third that. I just cant stop adding things to this car lol but ive decided to put modding on hold for a bit. I need to catch up on suspension work and minor things which ive kinda neglected.

Thats part of modding.. I haven't hardly touched under the hood(though plan to quite soon), but my suspension is 100% rebuilt.. Thats where I started.

I haven't done any modding since a few months after I bought it. My problems are just age. :th_sick2:

the only suspension problems I had were tie rods (which came with my rack), hubs and sway bar which have all been replaced. I have both LCA's just sitting in the plastic that I havent had time to install yet. If the car needed any suspension work, I would definately address that first before modding
