Yes, I love it! Horrible mpg's and all. Really, the impala rides like a dream and is a super nice car for longer trips. The seats never get uncomfortable. I really enjoy having a 4 door again. And you can fit like, 10 dead bodies in the trunk, lol.

And...you can't forget that purr on start-up

Changed pads.and rotors on the gxp today....maaaayyyyy have waited a little.to.long..whoops. but its all done.

i did brakes for a friend on his wifes car. looked just like that. i said you remember when the brakes where squealing about 5,000 miles ago? she ponders and say yeah they did start to squeal. then they stopped.......and then started to grind. lol

i then told her thats how you know when you need new brakes, its your warning.

Holy metal to metal brakes, Batman! That's almost what they looked like on the '96 that I had when I got it.
Yeah, They hit the squealer, I knew I had new rotors for it front and rear already I ordered back in the fall. Then it got cold. And I work retail soooooo my whole November and December were shot. I figured when the metal shavings started to collect around the rim and tire it was time to change them. LOL. Smooth as silk now.

that fur looking metal is a dead give away lol

pretty sure we've all let the brakes go to long at one point or another. ive had a few just fall apart on me and ate the rotor too. lots of meat left on the other pads.

LOL I don't remember the exact circumstances, but one time my uncle was driving his Dodge Ram, hit the brakes, heard a God awful noise and had a terrible vibration and it was hard to stop. His rotor basically exploded.

Washed it today then parked it in the driveway. Birds happened, so I had to wipe all the dumpings off. Damn birds. Glad I kept the sunroof closed.
