The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
Apparently our impala has been dripping a lot of engine oil lately. All of a sudden really. Thought it was going to be the oil pressure switch, but nope. Just looked under it, looks like the whole oil pan is soaked. I'm thinking it rusted a hole or something, the gasket wouldn't just start pouring one day I don't think.
Come to think of it, it was pretty dry when I did the shift kit. Well somewhere in between. It was wet but not leaving drips everywhere.
Got the remote start stuff figured out, it was GM's fault, lol. Everything works now though, I can turn my auto climate control on from the keys, hehe.
Something I set up. I have the dual zone automatic climate control so I tore it apart, soldered 2 wires to the auto button, then ran those to a relay and used the alarm to turn the relay on.
Last kill of 2014... a later model Escalade. At a red light, my lane is going to end soon after the intersection... light goes green, Caddy munches the tires... nuh-uh. Denied.
I'm happy thus far with my cold starts, aka, it's started every time. I always thought with a cam it would be harder to start.
Took a little road trip up to Springfield to my Dad's place. I picked up a 4 channel Memphis amp for $90, 75x4 @ 0.3% THD, my Infinity is 1% THD. It'll go in later today or tomorrow, but I'm more happy with the tune and how the car drove. Man o man what a difference, so much more drivable compared to before. All my KR is gone too. Remote start worked PERFECT as well.
I'm a happy camper for the moment, I just need to figure out why my LTFT's are so negative.
Pulled the vert out to see how her new shoes fit. Front needs spacers..damn 10inch baby brakes...but think they look pretty good. Cant wait till spring to drive her again and l67 swap
