So today I wanted to do my retros. After laying around all morning I said I guess I better get to it. Grabbed my box my 400000 feet of harnesses and got to work. Previously I had already cutout the holes for the projectors. And had an idea of how I wanted to run the wiring. Well I said piss on making it look pretty I just want to make sure I wired it all up rights and worked. I'm not the smartest with electrical so with some help from Dirtdog lots of help from Russodinoguy and I took spazz advice and got some dielectric grease and cleaned the **** out of my stock grounds. I got it all wired up and after a smalle prayer of no sparks and explosions.

Also this **** ears rust. So I threw the ground bolts in this. And they cleaned up nicely

I'll finish it up tomorrow morning. My girlfriends sister just got engaged so we are going out to eat so I have to get cleaned up.
Also decided I need switch backs for my turn signals. That they match better. So I will be looking into those also.

Lol not a big deal it's all figured out. I screen shotted those to save. Classy gives you new bulbs with the retros
Would rather put that 35 bucks to switch backs lol
 
got everything done on my car, and the last ting to do is bolt the outer tie rod on, so happens the threads got stripped, so tomorrow have to get a different one and my cars ready to get aligned on monday..lucky me i have to drive a different vehicle tomorrow to work, was hoping to have my car done today.
 


Did the PLOG install today, that wen't so smoothly this time. Unlike my first attempt at installing a PLOG that failed because the flange was welded on backwards by ZZP, snapped two bolts during that install.
Also installed LED in the low beams and reverse lights, much better looking colour then that awful yellow from the halogen bulbs.
 
Changed a headlight in the Prius, probably #6 or #7 in three years. This car eats headlights, and it's damn near impossible to get my hand behind the headlight housing... my busted knuckles are a testament to changing it in the Meijer's parking lot.

Then went and gassed up both cars for $1.99 and $2.29 respectively... $42 filled up both cars from a quarter tank.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, when gas is so damn cheap.
