Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

My browser does that if it sees common products. If I type duct tape it might link to an amazon page for duct take lol. Notice how he said ride thread and that link says ride and thread.

I took some pictures of it today.. I'll take more when it's clean.

I can't stop staring at this thing now..

Noticed my exhaust tips are spot rusting really bad, looks like herpes.

Anyone think if i cleaned them up with some BKF and threw a coat of high temp clear on them it would stick and stop it from spot rusting all the time? Its that or buy some wheel sealant and try that. I don't understand why they are doing this so bad for being stainless.

Almost donated my motor to a Traverse that was doing less than half my highway speed... learned at that moment I need a brake upgrade. Baaaaad. I have Hawk HPS pads... its just that they're too small. Some poo almost came out there.

Then went and drove around the Wal-Mart parking lot in reverse

SAME HERE. God they are horrible. My plan is to just let them go over winter and shine them up in the spring

I haven't had a problem with mine, but if mine were rusting. I would clean them, wet sand them a bit with 2000+ grit, and then shoot with high temp clear. It should stick just fine, and when you do go to clean them they will wipe clean with ease.

Ehh 0000 steel wool should take off the spot rusting. You did get the tonka tips right.. Hell had mine for 4 years or so and still no rusting at all, Granted I'm not up in the north.

Found the remote start I'm going to get. It's an Audiovox and gets pretty decent reviews for $111 free shipping. It have 1 mile range, 2-way alarm, 4 or 5 aux channels, sun roof provisions, window provisions, temp sensor, etc. I'm ordering it next Friday when I get paid. I'm working 72 hours this week...I got off work at midnight last night and I was back to work a 5:30 AM for another 12 hour shift (that makes six in a row) yay.

No I got some other brand from another seller, I bought some Bar Keepers Friend and gonna try to get the crap off today maybe.

I went through a touchless car wash today, I love em. We have a nice one in town but it uses all those brushes and spinny things and the dangly things to wash the car and I don't wanna risk more scratches from them. Then I noticed a good scratch/scuff on the RR qp from my grandpa brushing against the car getting around it in the garage. I told him please be more careful and he feels really bad and told me he would take it to be fixed and I told him no its fine just be more careful.

just so your aware, touch less has no "brushes and spinny things and the dangly things" as you put it. thats called a car wash lol

touch less is just water jets, not a brush in sight.
