Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

It has to be a 05-07 sierra/Silverado 5.3 ext cab. Short bed. 4x4 3:42 gears
Plans are
Cam
Heads
Rockers
Headers
X pipe
Corsa catback
Dyno Brian tune
Trans cooler shift kit.

3.42's blow, unless all you want is help with fuel mileage. Never fear the gear, 80% of those year trucks have 3.73's anyway. Gears and a stall is what make these things move out.

Skip the shift kit and just buy a corvette servo, it's a better upgrade to the ticking time bomb tranny they call a 4L60e. Head swap should depend on what comes on them stock. 706 heads are decent but if it already comes with 243 heads, leave it be as they are already good. Otherwise it's kinda wasted cash unless you are making huge horsepower. Stock rockers are good too, just get the correct pushrods for your cam swap.

Also on a side note, that 2500 heavy chevy will be a tank and will have the stomach of a tank.

Thanks for the input I knew it was rare to get 3:42s most come with 3:73s however I probably will consult you more when spring comes. I forgot about the vette servo and yeah I'm not getting into a 2500hd fuk that noise lol I don't need it

And you have been banking money ever since then lol

Still trying to figure out why I have no Performance Shift. Everything is fine with my old PCM, but my new PCM is a no go. damnation.

Got 15 gallons of gas, $2.49/gal. Cheapest I've ever bought gas. (been driving for 3 years though) 30 some dollars filled my tank from e.

Got my mudflaps on yesterday, just the fronts. The rears will require the wheels to come off so I didn't feel like doing it yesterday.

Also at work, I started doing a heater core on a dakota. Tore the whole dash and hvac case out of the truck..lol. Went pretty well so far. Found the evaporator was leaking too so that's getting done.

Gas is around 2.49 at some places around here.

What kind of mud flaps you get and how did ya install em, i might pickup some to stop ice/snow build up but only on the fronts. Rears i don't really care much, tryin to save the rockers as much as possible haha.

I got some cheap ones on ebay.

They're just hard plastic. I could have just got a sheet of plastic from the garbage and cut it to the same shape and used that lol. But these say pontiac.

Oh and I attached them using 2 existing screws already holding the rocker cover to the car. I was thinking of making a new hole and using one more (provided) screw to secure it.

If its not too much trouble think you could get a pic of how you secured them? I'm gonna pull the trigger on a set probably especially if i don't have to drill holes.

Dirty car. I'm gonna have to drill a hole and add another screw. 2 may not hold up to snow and ice.

Lol 4x4 is what gets me through these Michigan roads without scraping bumpers. Only hard part was getting the holes in the right spots. I got some 4x4's and stacked them to the height I wanted the flap at, put some paint on the screw heads, and pushed it where I wanted it. There were 2 paint spots on the flap where I made my holes.

So someone just told me that they saw someone trying to break into my car in the work parking lot on Friday. Anyone who knows me knows I wouldn't mind spending a night in jail over my car. Wanna eat through a straw for a few weeks? Walk with a limp for the rest of your life? Try it again. I will mail you pieces of your "giblets" for months.

I think I might have my French Shepard spend the night in the car tonight, that'd be a pleasant surprise for whoever gets in my car that shouldn't be there, lol.
