• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Did you tell Sparky when you did rockers etc.. or kept that a secret ?

No he was there when I installed the Rockers. He laughed every time I dropped a valve lock . Luckly I had extras :P
He is going to pick up a set for himself eventually.

But at least my new doberman kept me company

I pulled the seats initially to just speed up the process but the carpet has the stupid vent tubes which connect the heater box to. So I had to pull the carpet. Both were actually really easy to do.

those dumb vents to the back under the seats, what a crap idea that was lol i bent mine and ripped them out of the box up front. rolled the carpet back like 4 inches or so, thats it.

and the console did come out too. seats stayed in.

I would call what you did to change it overkill, but having done it myself I completely understand why you did it. You honestly probably saved yourself time in the end. On top of that you were probably able to do some interior detailing with everything out.

My uncle assisted me when I did mine and I think I heard him cuss more in that day than I have heard him cuss in my 34 years on this planet. LOL

I did one on an 04+ as well. I wasn't really annoyed til I saw the plastic melted rivets I had to grind off. Everything was so tight, but a 1/4 air ratchet, swivel sockets, and small dremel grinder made pretty easy work of it. I had a nice headache after being upside down for a couple hours.

Received my 6K HID bulbs for my fog lights today. They now match my 6K HID high beams perfectly, also like the $12 price, just had to wait a month for them to arive from Chine but what ever.

Got the antenna and module I ordered for the Impy. Hopefully tomorrow afternoon I can take over the garage and get them switched out. Then hopefully I can reprogram myself....mixed reviews. Some have been able to while others say you still need a tech 2 in the end.
I just really want working remote start from a distance. Having to be right next to it kinda defeats the purpose of having it.

I now officially have retrofits on my car. :th_thumb-up: So much more light it's crazy, and the 5k white looks really nice. The lane lines on the pavement stick out really well now, almost glows. And construction cones are very bright.

Here is after/before with my dash cam. Note that the cam is bad in low lighting, so everything appears dark. But the change is very visable. The bottom pic is halogen in stock housings, and yes they're on lol.
