• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

id get a oil pressure gauge, and a volt gauge, if you shop around you'll find two gauges in one. those are the only two your not gonna see other wise.

I'm a lot older than most of you guys so maybe I'm stuck in the old school mindset, but I run water temp, oil pressure , volts. With these aluminum engines and all the computers these 3 are the life lines to these engines. Just my opinion.

the areoforce does all that stuff. oil pressure is all you really cant see full time with out a real oil pressure gauge. i like to see my volts full time.

I've got the good ole aeroforce with KR and STFT at the moment, then I've got a wideband and an oil pressure gauge. And the DIC I always leave on trans temp

dont you have to scan through all the other things a aeroforce does to see each item it scans? volts and oil pressure. i like to see with a glance.

coolant temp is in the dash cluster, not a issue to me.

No i have mine set up to display two things at once. I do have an option for it to scroll through 8 things....2 at a time but I don't like that feature

like i said, id rather just look at a real gauge thats there full time at a glance. you know where the needle belongs, so a quick look tells you if its low or not.

I was going to get AeroForce gauges for my Imp, but never could settle on two or three. And then I decided I didn't want them THAT bad and sold my pillar gauge holder. Now I have a ScanForce II, and that does everything the AeroForce would do, but I can move it between vehicles.

I had an Edge Insight CTS before I got the Aeroforce. It was nice, big colour screen, 8 displays at one, but it didn't read trans temp, so it sits on the shelf.

Only problem I have with torque is that it doesn't read the voltage correctly, it's about .5v too high. I checked it at the OBD port with a multimeter, and it's correct, but Torque is not.

Changed the oil from Valvoline to Mobil1, both were synthetic. Also tuned the DoD out of my GXP with HP Tuners and going to be getting a custom HP tune pretty soon. I had a couple shift points changed as well. I reset my MPG on the DIC to see how it will be effected. I got a big trip from Detroit up to Traverse City tomorrow with the family so I am interested to see.

I used the term "aluminum engine" ,as an inclusive term. I should have said engines with aluminum components.
