Reading your posts ...when you mention stuff like that is very interesting from my standpoint. We have none of that fun around here.
I always thought they were 2-strokes, they just mixed the oil for you. That's just a standard option on Ludes... Yeah..I had one.
Not sure where the idler(s) are on that year, but it could be as easy as a shorter belt.Pulley seized up on the smog pump and the thing won't run at all. Going to find a way to bypass it, he says.
Ford did use them right up to '97, something like every 10th truck (joke). They probably had to clean up the old inventory. LOL.....92-96 truck there...with different doors? Those mirrors aren't typical on 92-96s.
What is it, I like surprises. By judging from the box, I have no idea.Got these two in the mail today. Wonder what they could be...

How did you do it. I have the same problem and it erks me.Adjusted the headlight and turn signal. There was a gap under the pass side headlight and turn signal. It really was staring to bug me.
I am happy with the fitment now.

Serpentine Belt routing changed with the body style, 1992. 1992 is when they changed over to the 3G alternator and since they put out more amperage they need more grip from the belt so they put that extra idler in there for more belt contact. They used those mirrors under special order, from what I read. Since obviously they're stronger. If I'm not over here I'm at FSB and I'm a moderator at FTC. Before I got my GP, my truck was my baby. I guess it still should be.Not sure where the idler(s) are on that year, but it could be as easy as a shorter belt.
