Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Not bad Danielle but those rims have got to go
Everyone seems to hate them. I like them, I think they are rather flashy esp being polished. I can't afford rims so they'll stay for awhile. And they are in mint condition with no scratches or curb rash.

The guy even used emory cloth on the exhaust yearly to keep it clean. Its spotless underneath.

I'll get some better pictures soon. The sun was fighting me by the time I got home with it.

It's good to see the car was well taken care of. It's hard to find used well maintained cars these days but again... those rims must go....when you can afford it

Got my oil changed, Installed 2 kicker 12's to replace my Kenwoods that blew up and got a used hub from the JY.

Danielle the impala looks nice. Is it victory red? Be sure to change the trans fluid and add the shift kit as your first mod. Might even consider a trans coller like everyone else who gets an LS4 equipped car.

I think it's victory red, yes. It's about as red as you can imagine lol. He just had the filter and fluid done at 42k (done Sept '13), so I was going to wait a little more before doing it again? I was definitely planning on doing the trans cooler first at least. I emailed TEP about one, leaning towards the LS4 special one that they build.

Think I'd be ok to wait a bit before dropping the pan and filter again?

I was flipping thru the DIC and it apparently doesn't have a display for the trans fluid temp. I need to get my little scanner thingy and plug it in, see what it does.

And thanks for all the compliments guys!

You'll want a tune done especially for the transmission. Dod eats up a lot on the trans side...I've outline many things to keep it running healthy in the ls4 section. A lot of the 3800 rules no longer apply

Yeah ive been studying up on it trying to understand everything. I didn't realize it switched back and forth so frequently and quickly. Its a nice feature, just wish it wasn't so bad on the trans.

I need to visit the ls4 section more and start bookmarking stuff.

Danielle..

Time to update the siggy. Keep the rims. They are 18's and almost no one will ever try to steal them, which is a huge plus. I'm surprised the lengths you were willing to go through to park in the driveway...lol

I will update it once I get some better pictures. Are you saying cuz I'm in the grass? I parked the gp over to far and couldn't fit next to it. I gotta move things around to fit it where I usually park. Our parking area at home wasn't made for 4 cars lol.

Drove the imp to work.....I'm in love, lol

Oh duh. I didn't put that together. But yes. Now I can park wherever I want in the driveway. No more left side only and lining it up with a tree so it leaks in the same area. lol

Although, the GP may be staying around. We haven't decided yet. If its cheap enough on liability insurance, may keep it for a winter car and I can keep the impala inside. It's only seen 2 winters.

It's a nice red color. Looks real good when it's all detailed. I think you will be fine waiting a little bit. Removing DOD is another good idea.

Here's another forum that you can check out. Look into a lew tune. He's over on ls1tech as well. Seems like most folks are happy with it.

The LS4 that has always caught my eye is the Lacrosse Super. Those look great.
