• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

I'm gonna sand the grille down then hit it with another coat of flat black because it's not as nice as I'd like it. But once the emblem gets here it'll go on. I should have it before the meet in 2 weeks.

Why? Because Buick, that's why. Grandma can't see out to back up with tint :th_nanana:

didnt see the bottom pic. it needs clear coat.

Yeah I agree. Like I said it's not exactly how I'd like it. So I'm gonna sand it down a little and respray it. I might just ditch the flat black idea and just do glossy black.

Pssh, I can see out my windows with my tint. Just just some 60w rev LED bulbs and it becomes daylight. And yes do glossy you will love it.

Semi would be OK, flat never looks good on an exterior. Just clear or shiny black on the surround part might be cool. Actually I think it would look best if the outside edge was body color and the middle was almost but not quite glossy, and black. Painting the edge in a similar grey to the bumper accent might also be appealing. Photo edit must. Right now it looks like a work truck grille and makes me want to buuu-aaack lol

Can these be turned lol? Off my sisters impala.....whole side of the car was just rotor rust and the wheel was ruined from all the rust.....hell I used full strength acid on the wheel and let it sit for ten minutes at a time and it couldn't strip the crap off.

those are fun, you have to pound out the lug studs to get the full floating hub off.

axle looks like this when the hub and rotor are off.

i had to redo the backs. he cheeped out and we used auto zone pads and rotors and well yeah, the rears ate a pad and killed the rotor, so i had them both cut, then used napa severe duty pads.

dual piston calipers front and back! FTW!

All them bad brakes are scary. People have no clue whats going on under there. I have no clue about big truck brakes, count me out!

That hood looks like it fits pretty nicely, is it fiberglass? How much work was involved, if any? And which hood is that?

My afternoon did make an improvement, especially in person the brake paint took a little more age off the car. Only needed to polish one wheel. Cleaned inside the wheels too, they were bad. That endo the day light does the car a lot of favors... but happiness is a shiny GTP. Grape is gonna be jelly, I totally blocked her out of the pics, ha. Time to go cruise back roads.
