Exactly my thoughts. She runs well and I trust it. And its paid off. I'll kick the idea around still but unless a crazy good deal comes up, I'll keep it for a bit longer.
Lee will just have to deal with it.

Idk why he would wanna get rid of a no problem car for someone else's probs.
 
Noticed this today in the door jam.

Im afraid if I sand it down it will all peel off around the corner to the body side. Its really loose and will flake off if touched. Think I can just tape it off and hit it with some clear coat spray?
 
The area is so out of the way you probably could get away with sanding then taping off the small area, or try to blend it.

I may play with it some to see what happens. There is no rust in the area so idk why it decided to start cracking. My main goal is just preventing it from spreading more.

While I can hardly think of any other car I'd rather drive. Other than a gtp of course, but like something other than a GP. Can't see myself driving anything else. I love the look, like the sound (engine: gutted airbox, not exhaust), I like the handling, I like the decent reliability, and the power is okay, gtp would be preferred. I like the low end torque mine has though. Anything below 25 mph it will throw you back in your seat lol. Gets way less as speed goes up but still good enough for city driving where I hardly go over 40 mph. And I'm familiar with the platform and love the 3800 in general.
 
I got the oil and tranny fluid changed in the MG, now I just need to get the shifter mounted back on. I also took out the center console, I may just leave it like that. Made a list of parts and got some more stuff to do now hopefully this weekend. The list is getting shorter.
