• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Neither, my dad is a studio engineer with another degree in electronics so I've always upgraded the audio portion of whatever I have, lol. I grew up doing this kind of stuff so it's second nature to me.

ahhh when I see studio equipment I assume that either you play or know someone who plays lol. I do miss playing my guitar tho. mainly miss texas blues

This is what someone else did to my car not me...uuuggghhh

With the warmer weather KR returned with a vengeance.

I'm about to pulley back up, say screw it, and not mess with this damn car anymore.

The only o-ring to ever worry about is the big o-ring for sealing it off. Those little o-rings I never change unless someohow damaged, they don't really serve a purpose in my eyes when you look at the design.

Ecotec's, toyota, hyundai and boat loads of other cars are switching to that design likely because it's cheaper.

The VUE I had before my GP had a cartridge filter like that, and was cheaper. My wife has a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country with the 3.6L v6 (same one used in the Charger and what not), and it also has a cartridge...and it's $13.99...EACH..>WTF???

Well, filter price might be higher on some. Those 3.6's are very new, prices will go down someday, and seeing how the 2014+ got a small design change, my work can only get them from a dealership.

I kinda meant less metal is used in making that style, because it's all plastic molded.

Oh - I know...which is why you'd expect them to be cheaper. And when I had the VUE, they WERE cheaper.

Funny part is, the Puralator pure 1 gold version of this filter was actually a buck cheaper than the cheaper Puralator version...lol

I was mostly pissed because they were doing an oil/filter special at Advance, but capped the price of the filter at $11.99...

This is true... i read some where that it takes a special tool... looks like you just need a deep socket on it....

you need a pair of channel lock pliers for the win. jack car up take off pass front wheel, then reach in to it. ( i know your arms are as long as mine ) unplug it, then take it out with the pliers. that is the easy way.

i put that new HF buffer to work today.

wet sanded bumper. and the right top 1/2 buffed one pass. it needed more.
