• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

On our impala: Added the water deflector cowl, and found the seal just chillin on the bottom... We had the windshield replaced and they never put the seal back on. Oh well the deflector is still going in place of it.

Found that my GP may not have came with a cabin air filter, but it looks like I can just buy one and put it in.

Today, I admitted something I never thought I would. As much as I hate that damn car, I miss driving it, because this 06 trailblazer just isn't the same.

That is actually almost identical to the oil cap for the 5th generations.... may be that they for some reason needed a new cap and went to an auto store and just asked for an oil cap for a gp.... idk

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II

Well it's on an 03 impala if that means anything. So both engine cover and oil cap are different. It's not even the long neck style like the 04+

Replaced SC fluid aka stinky brown stuff and i think its funny the fresh fluid smells nice n clean, and replaced outer tie rods. And just realized i forgot to replace SC coupler smh. Oh well no rocks or rattle sounds will just save it for another day when i actually need to replace it.

pretty close, off by maybe 2 mpg either way.

my around town #'s are awful, i see 12 to 14 all day long. ive done the math side by side with the dic on a full tank of gas and ran all local. its as bad as 12 mpg lol

I will be driving about 60 miles a day here in about a week or so and I am looking at a car, but was looking a 4cyl........seeing those numbers makes me want another turdyeight

i cant stress enough how light on the pedal i was to get those #'s lol no cruise control, all my big ass right foot.

just from my short local driving since i got off the highway, its dropped to 27. and will drop back to 16 for a while, then back to 14 where it likes to be with all my local stop and go driving i do. if i can keep my foot out of the gas 16 is as high as it goes local.

i knew you'd think better.

if i was all highway this car would be great on gas. truth is its a locally driven slob on gas most of the time.....

Valley cover weld job took a **** leaked oil all under the intake and rear of block and down had to revert back to the ls1 intake and valley cover. Went down to the weld shop and tore them a new asshole and personally watched for a hour making sure my stuff was done right. On the bright side I can change out the intake manifold and valley cover in about 15 min or less with hand tools lol
