Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Dont get me wrong i agree with you 100%! But I needed the car on the road ASAP. I start 40-50 hours a week of school On monday. Some day soon i plan on sanding it down, priming it, gloss black rattle can with proper clearcoat. AKA doing it the right way. Just dont have time to do it right now lol

Rattle can is the right way?

Lolz

But guessing your own a budget so I guess it's finr

That's my 180 tstat.
Wth????

What did I do wrong?

Maybe air the in system? Did u bleed it out after the engine was fully warmed up? Ummm......were u just ideling or actually driving

a 180 t stat aint doing crap, if the car wants to live at 200 plus temps, its gonna run there, the 180 opens at 180 deg's, all its doing is opening up sooner. by 15 deg's.

unless you get the fans tuned. you wont see much of a difference.

clean your condenser and rad out. the out side that is, spray it with de greaser, then hose it from the engine side to the bumper side, this will take the bugs dirt and crap out of. it and if was clogged up the car will run cooler of course.

I found a set of polished dog bones in the junkyard today. Looks like they will need to be touch up a bit, but they look pretty nice.

I was idling and I bleed the tstat (unscrewed and coolant came out)
Closed it.
Only when I turn the ac on its going down to 197

Yes like they said, that 180 wont do a thing for keeping it cool when idling or sitting in traffic. At the point all air flow is from the fans which are not tuned. It only works for when you are moving. Which is most of the time anyway, so they can be effective without a tune. I hardly ever sit and idle for more than a few minutes at a time, and with my 180 I have never been above 203°. When I did reach that, it was a hot day and I was idling in my driveway for a few minutes after driving.

Do some driving in non rush hour traffic, it should run around 190°F. If it doesn't there is obviously a restriction somewhere, whether it be air flow through the condenser or coolant through the system.

Drove the car home and it charged up to 14.46 Volts. Parked it in the street. Right after I did that I decided to park it in the driveway and charge the battery. The alarm went off when I tried to start it. Can a battery drain that quick? Or is something else effed up with the car?
