If I had time I would have done the repair myself. The pump that went bad is less than $200. But I didn't have time to wait for it to be shipped, or spend all day on a phone trying to track it down. I'm not upset that it went bad. Typically the folks on the hybrid forums say the pump goes bad at 50k miles. Mine made it to 100k miles. Everything else still going strong. Original brakes are still installed on the front. I changed the OEM brakes on the rear at 80,000 miles. And find me another SUV that gets 28 MPG with start and stop driving that delivering newspapers requires.Hybrids, car of the future.![]()
