• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

I go to start up the GTP this morning and it will not run. Only runs when I put my foot on the accelerator. About 2-5% pedal input and it runs great. OHm'ed out the injectors all good. Plenty of fuel PSI.

The only code I get is for a P0122. That is for a TPS sensor Low input circuit A. I checked the wiring looks good. The TPS is reading the correct % when the car is running. Closed I was getting .5volts and when I opened it by hand it jumped to 4.8 volts. Both of those numbers seem good to me. I lighted tapped the TPS and I didn't notice any changes when closed, but when opened and I tapped on it the multi-meter would jump .1 to .2 volts. So what does that mean I don't know?

with out snow tires my regal wont f ing move in the snow at all. 2-3 inches on a plowed road the car refused to go. added 1/2 used snow tires last year and the car now pulls through 12 inches of un plowed snow like nothing.

I found used studded tires for my car for 150 bucks. I'm considering buying them

I had bald all seasons on my gp the first winter, rears were at the wear bar and fronts were close. Thing went through any amount of snow. This ford focus down the street from me was getting stuck in 2.5 inches of snow and they were complaining that they just got new tires. My gp was in the street at the time and wanted it out with all these people getting stuck, put it in drive and it just went through it no problem

I'm gonna use this as an excuse to polish the car before winter sets in. And I think I will start parking in the garage.

Unfortunately an IAC can cause that too lol. I can give you my tps readings at closed and open throttle if you'd like. Tapping on the IAC make a difference?

And they probably bought cheap summer tires because people think tires with tread will go in anything. I've seen AWD cars struggle in snow/ice with summer tires.

I don't know what tires were on it, should have looked but I assumed they were all seasons. I rarely see anything but all seasons on cars here in MI.

My khumos and potenzas are awful in the snow, got stuck in half an inch on a flat driveway. Then again on a tiny 2" mount of snow behind the tires. How I made it through the winter I will never know. But I could slide the ass of the car around every corner lol

I'm getting new all seasons after the first snow.

Don't be jelly red. A stock comp g is no match for the mighty 3.5 Regal lol. In other news, I finally did the rear brakes this morning. It's nice to be able to stop again without listening to screeching from hell.

Winter 2012 I had potenzas on the Prius. Between those crap tires and the traction control that kills all power the millisecond it detects any wheel spin, I got stuck in Tim Horton's parking lot multiple times with as as little as two inches of snow. I've got michelin defenders on there now, which are much better. But it still doesn't play well in the snow.
