What did you do to your Car today?

thats my next step, that and cleaning it. this pulley was grinding when rolled by hand. and i could feel it when running if i touched the bolt. the rest are smooth feeling still, so it could be the belt. or one of them.

now it seems to be coming from the sc idlers, one of them. being they are the last 2 that are not new, one was swapped with a used one, so it could be on its way out too. all i know is 2 more and they are all new.

at least it dont feel like its gonna snap a belt. lost belt on these cars never adds up to any thing good it seems.

Haha, I wish i knew about Hondas, all I can find on Honda forums is replace the cat. I somehow agreed to a bet to see which of our cars will last the longest. I told him does replacing a transmission count as cheating when mine goes out lol. Think I'm gonna tell him to get a 02 fouler and remove the cat lol.

Edit: The cat is built into the manifold LOL

Get a eBay header and a pair of non fouler's. Or buy a stock manifold from a same year ex model.

Picked up some wheels then took the dirty girl through the car wash.

Changed the oil, installed a new idler arm...found out there's some new tires headed my way...not a bad day except running two quarts of Lucas and three quarts of 20w50 is getting pricey.

Nothing. Been watching the rain just bead up and sheet off the car nicely. Nice to see klasse sealant holding up really well.

Traded it in for Lee's '06 Silverado for the weekend. Left the GP parked nice and cozy in the garage so it doesn't have to be out in the snow storm coming.

West Chester, OH?

Thanks man! and I havent found the other wheel yet. No rush though still alot of work to go on her

Pretty sure he means West Chester PA but Idk, never heard of West Chester, OH

wasn't camp kill your self in that town? you know that mtv show that was like jack ass. bam margera or some crap like that.

Yea CKY that was in West Chester, PA not to far from me

Viva La Bam was the show, hes part of Jack Ass too

Yes, West Chester, PA. My cousin has seen Bam a few times around town. Taken pics with him too.

When I got off the turnpike and was headed toward town I noticed a sort of grinding noise when coming to stoplights. Being I just had every single wheel bearing off last weekend it worries me slightly. I had my cousin verfy it was coming from right rear. When I parked in the parking garage I jacked it up real quick and everything is tight. Only guess is since that is the caliper I changed that maybe it is hanging up and wore my brake pad to metal..... I have a 4 hour ride home tomorrow too with no way to really check the car out.

Enjoyed the 50 degree weather and gassed her up. Made some good pulls and she's still running rich but a bit less KR than before the gasket swap.

Got around to a much needed oil change on Friday before the snowstorm hit. I rly feel like the GXP's do run like turds when they're in need of an oil change and are low on oil. Anyhow it's running great and I'm glad I don't have to worry about an oil change in this aweful weather. :)

Sold my dirtbike and my infinity bass link subwoofer. That was a quick 400 bucks. Also my car does good in the snow would be even better with some actual snow tires

I've been late on oil changes lots of times, or just between them & always try to keep it topped up figuring full is better than low. Gotta replenish those additives.

Changed the brakes and rotors. While changing the fronts, discovered that someone decided to switch pads and take the shims, then returned them to Adavance Auto. Had to take my bike out and drive to two different stores to get the right brakes. That's OK, I can only ride on the weekends now anyway, so any chance to ride is a good one. Impala is now ready for my southeast highest point three state tour next month!
