• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Put gas in it. Then started it. Then it told me on my DIC to, "Stop Engine." So I thought, Ummmm that's weird. It then proceeds to say, "Low oil pressure."

Let the yelling begin..

Also I was an hour and a half from home and an hour and a half from my parents which is where I was headed.. It's been a fun day.

That reminds me installing oil pressure gauge should be on my list of things to do.....eventually

Crazy thing is.. I just changed the oil a week ago. Now it claims to have no oil pressure. I know it burns oil but 7.5 quarts in a week? I got it home and its going up in the air tomorrow to find out whats wrong with it now.

I assume you fat fingered it and meant 4.5 in the first place, but just because you have oil doesn't mean you will have oil pressure. Oil pump failure or bearing wear will cause low oil pressure.

It was out of oil. I just don't understand how it could have lost 7.5 quarts in a week.. It'll be in the air tomorrow so i'll check for leaks. I know it burns oil but not that much lol.

Northstars take 7.5 quarts to get in the middle of the safe range. They'll take 8 safely, then burn a quart every 3k. Or more if it leaks a lot, which they all do. They're much happier leaking.
