• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your car today? Vol 2.0

ZZP has been getting back in the shop and fabricating parts. My Stattama pipes showed up this week, and the test fitting was a success.

Trying to diagnose the popping noise that's coming from front of the GXP. Only happens when turning the wheel all the way while moving. Pops thinks it's nothing. I'm not so sure. I was thinking steering rack now I'm thinking hubs or cv axle.

Two heart attacks? Dead? Wut? I got pulled over for coupe loop yesterday. Ain't had to work on my junk. GTP is claims it is making 24 MPG+ on the commute with well over 280K. GT sits by the curb, ready to serve with 100K less miles and same MPG # on dash. 455 needs a carb but damn the price is twice what an LS costs. I pretty much quit posting because my input is never valid but I fix cars and trucks all day every day like the last two decades or so.

I'm going to disagree. Your feedback has helped me on more than one occasion.

Fair enough, and likewise. Bet it was nothing to do with Grand Prixs though. You are the RWD-V8-having exception and I have evolved into a one trick pony thats all.

Believe me I am real happy with the way my Prixs are treating me lately. Prime weather for a 60s hardtop today so I am using mine.

Yeahp, 2. Not dead, yet.

Right time and place for a pic happened today. I say that but it was sprinkling. Which is good, the car is dirty. She is a dirty, dirty car. For shame!

Got inspection appointments setup for the Bonne and the GP on Monday. The Bonne has been out since Oct. 2019 when my Dad and I started prepping her for a repaint and the GP is due by the end of the month.

Since the Bonne has been sitting for at least 2 months since the last start I figured it wouldn't fire up w/o a charge. My daughter said to me that she would fire up on her own since I charged it up good the last time and held the flashlight while I reconnected the battery. Sure as sh*t after 5 revs of the starter she fired right up. Guess the kiddo is actually learning something, lol... Let it run to check for leaks/issues and none were found. Came up to full heat and the fans kicked in as they should. She just sat idling nice and smooth. Was nice to hear it running again. I miss driving this car and I hope to have it all done next year.

made a catch can bracket for the SS today. just need to paint it up and get it installed next weekend.
