damn that looks pretty damn good, almost like paint. you use a air gun to spray it, or a load of cans?

I did the black bits with rattle cans. Dip you car makes a sprayer for dipping it's a hvlp set up.

whats the final cost of everything there? with enough dip to do a whole car? that pearl stuff makes it look so much better then the flat colors im used to seeing. might be worth doing to hide all my fading paint.

Started the intercooler/rocker/fueling upgrades on my regal. Got about halfway done. The LIM is ported, the supercharger is apart, rockers are installed and the head exchanger is mounted, but mostly we just finished disassembly. Hoping to have it up and running again by friday.

I think the 1st time around it was 350.00 for the "kit" 4 gallons of black the sprayer drape and tape predip spray dip wash and dipcoat. pretty much everything you need to do the job and maintain it..
This time around it was almost 200 with the same kit minus the sprayer and 45 for the pearl. 2 gallons of gunmetal gray for base coats and 2 gallon of aluminum.
If it's something you are thinking about i would encourage you to look up dyc on YouTube. they have tons of options glossifier to if you want shinier pearls hyper shift color change and so on
Also I signed on to there promotions so these prices are 15 to 25 percent off i don't remember

if i was to do it, i really think id go with the same color you got now. that looks damn sharp. ill check their yt out for sure.
Drove the 00 GT today and realized its due for an oil change. Ordered a new oil pressure sending unit for my Sport Comp gauge as I think the current one is dying. Oil pressure seems way off. At least that's my hope.
Finally had a chance to wash the Cadillac to get all the damn bugs off the front end. Also had a chance to make a few 40-80 WOT pulls while locked in 2nd gear. Trying to get the rings freed up in this N*. I will say that for a 2-ton barge it pulls pretty damn hard. I was kinda surprised.

For a long time I have wanted to make a leak detector. I finally made one because my work van has high ltft's and I was sure it was a vac leak. No leak on van, but found a nice one on my Imp. MAF sensor o-ring was shot. Fixed that, now back to re doing my tune that I've re-done umpteen times in the last 3 weeks

Yup. We had them 10+ years ago (red light and radar), but they were shut down. Our current un-elected government put them back into action a few months ago. Can't wait until next year when the are voted out and the camera's (hopefully) go away again.
I'll try and scan the images; they are very clear, and the GP looks good. LOL
