Replaced a warranty axle on the 03, passenger side. Inner boot sprung a leak after 10500 miles. Man that CV joint grease is some nasty stuff. The replacement axle had 3 lobes on the transmission side which the original replacement did not have. Can’t remember what the original had. But the boot looked a bit smaller on the replacement axle.

I've been there. You're lucky you got that far on an aftermarket. I went through three of these in a matter of months before I finally went with the napa axle which is actually good quality reman. Hopefully yours lasts you awhile!

It’s the daughters car so she does not drive a lot. The cv boot was quite a bit bigger and may have been rubbing on the oil filter or the latent heat from the filter weakened the boot. The new one has a smaller diameter boot. 🤞

I need to wash my car.
That isn't really doing anything, but I did think of it. I think of porno a lot too but I don't do them. I just look at it.

Bought this today, after also ordering H&R springs for the wheel gap 535XI
I am hoping this makes it easier to align everything instead of using my other set.

Bought a cheap autel code/abs/srs code reader of amazon. Seems to work. Reads and clears codes.

Gonna be clearing snow off her in an hour, unless it all slides off on its own. LOL 20 minutes since I took the picture, and the hood is now clear.

8" is a lot, but around here, it melts fast; it is almost all gone as of this morning.

We use the brine a lot around here, so not as bad as the salt. I hate how it makes your car look like you haven't washed it in 10 years. LOL

Rotated the dogbones back to the stock position; the vibrations were too annoying.

Replaced a flickering dash cluster LED; 10th one in 2 years....awesome!

Always a joy messing with the cluster.

Drove mine to work today and no issues as usual. Got about 5mi. after leaving work and threw a CEL. No idea W T F it's for since all of my gauges says it's fine and it seems to be running just fine. Time to break out the scan tool. Not really needing to drop more money right now since I'm replacing a bunch of stuff on my Vic currently.

It's probably just pissed off that I didn't drive it most of the winter, lol..

Yes it is!! Got a P0128 (x2). The dash temp gauge has been weird for a while and finally quit reading anything a few days ago. I also noticed the fans running on high today when I pulled into the driveway even though I know it's not overheating and I have good heat in the car as always. Pulled the plug off the temp sensor on the LIM and the wires look ok at the plug and a few inches back. Also checked the harness connector about midway on the front of the intake and seemed good there too. Didn't put a voltmeter on it yet. Probably just going to find a Delco temp sensor and throw it in and see what I get. This is the original temp sensor so after 411K it might have finally failed.

Luckily I've only had to pull my cluster once to replace some bulbs. I really don't want to temp fate by pulling the dash surround more than I have to. I'm already missing 1 clip on it.

It also appears that since I removed/checked all the connections to my temp sensor that it started working properly today. Hoping it was just some junk built up somewhere.
