If you didn't care about interior design and just wanted a V8 RWD sedan, you can find chevy PPV caprice cars on ebay for 10-15k. They have the same 6.0/6L80e combo the G8's have. They might still be hard to come by but it's another option atleast.

I actually saw a Caprice in WI for I think $10k with a 140k miles on it, think it just had exhaust and rims. Only one 'local' I've ever seen for sale.
They're just so friging ugly though, lol.

I wonder if the mag ride from the Z28 could be retrofitted to a G8, since it's mechanical vs electronic.... Doesn't seem to be any info out there, probably not, but I can dream, lol.

Hell, the new Regal GS has the same magnetic ride, with a 300hp turbo 4 cyl. And its even MORE comfy than the previous regals. Yes, I test drove one. MAJESTIC!!!

Im in the process of looking at 2016 chevy ss's as it is. 2015's don't have the mag ride. and if I find a M6 oh boy!

After 255,XXX miles, had to replace the original water pump, radiator and passenger side axle with factory AC/Delco parts, tomorrows agenda is to do the front valve cover recall, and alignment at the dealership I work at, all while getting a free loaner car till Monday.

Thanks, I need to hit it with the buffer again. Lots of tiny swirls and the deck lid had some haze in spots from when my buddy painted it. I'll probably just use the black box kit before the big Michigan car meet like I usually do.

Visited ZZP on a whim today & noticed they no longer seem to support the 3800 Platform, at all. Did I miss something?
