Painting front fenders, hood, bumper, 'new' headlight, replaced header panel, gotta fix the sunroof motor, get rid of ABS light and that stupid variable steering notification on the DIC, lol, then she's done. Got more pics and stuff in my ride(s) thread.

Got a bunch of stuff in the mail for the 06. Front and rear speakers, plugs/wires, and tint. Gotta put all that on at some point.

You buy the eBay tint? I want to DIY tint my GTP sometime...., but $25 seems sketchy cheap, lol.

Yeah by tint pro on eBay. Gotta say it's better than Gila tint for sure. I put it on my 02 and still going strong after a year. Won't have it long enough to really tell though.

Okay, well if it still looks good after a year that's good enough for me... Not sure about doing the rear window myself though, looks like a pain in the butt.

Shrinking the tint is the hardest part. Took me 3 tries and it's still not perfect. I considered having the rear done professionally lol

back window is fun to shrink fit, does take some time, fingers just keep coming back, sucks, but worth it in the end.

same with a brow, those little f ers can really suck too.

I bought some e-Bay tint for my F-250 a few years back. Sold the truck and still have the tint. I wanted to try putting the tint on, but my patience level is so low these days that even thinking of doing a simple flat window tint job made me nervous. The quality of the tint looks to be good, so if you have the patience, go for it. I'd rather pay $150 and get all windows done by a pro while I sit and drink coffee. LOL

snagged an aluminum bumper support for $6 bucks at the local u-pull yard. need to go back and get the aluminum sub frame and oil pan off one of the newer 3800s.

@Bronco, I was always under the impression tint shops charged like $300/400 for a full car tint job... I should call up some places, for $150 someone else can do it, lol.

@jlb, wait - there's aluminum bumper supports on some of the W-Bodies?!

A good tint job around here is $260. My friend got a cheap tint job for $150 and it wasn't so great

Prices may vary but around here, $150-200 is the average. Buddy here at work had his new Acura done for $250 with lifetime warranty.

shop here wanted 150 for the back window only, i was like see ya!!!! 20 bucks off ebay and popped it in myself.

Tint prices just depends on location. My Stealth was tinted at a shop for $100 about 12 years ago and still looks pretty good. It's still black and not bubbled.
