Question for you guys,

I'm looking to cut power to one set of my projectors on my quad setup. The wiring sucks on my car so I did the best I could. So is there a way to wire something in to cut the power so I don't have to run all four lights at the same time? Thanks. I'm referring to this

How are they wired? Aftermarket harness? Sounds like they all come on with the low-beams?

You could just wire one set to the hi-beams.

Well my car is wired for hid from factory. I made the mistake when buying new lights and bought halogen versions. So that's where the trickery comes in. So wired both sets to the high beams so no lows. So they both come on lol. I just want to wire in a switch and and turn the highs off and run the lows.

So not use the OE low-beam circuit. OK. I have some home-drawn schematics of how to wire up auxillary lights. Would that help? Take the wiring from one set of lights, run to a relay, then to a switch.

Anything will help at the moment sir. they don't blind anyone but I prefer one set running. I tried hunting down the wiring for the g35 but couldn't really make to much sense of it

I'm just leaving work, so take a look at these. I also have one that will allow you to have the low-beams stay on when you turn on the hi-beams if you like, which might be nice for your set-up.

I'm home!

85 = ground
86 = switch
87 = to lights
30 = 12 volt fused power

If you can find the 12 volt wire that powers the factory lo-beams, that could go to 86 and be your switch.

Today I realized that as of yesterday sometime, I was getting very little boost. Like 2.5 PSI. So I nabbed the um... boost valve's black box, the one with wires going to it, on the same bracket as the actuator... off the old 40th engine. Was gonna swap actuator and all but the nipple snapped off the actuator when I tried to twist the hose. Anyway that thingamajig got me back to 6-8 lbs and 4 deg KR (normal for me). Hooked up the scan tool at work and commanded a CKP learn to get rid of the DTC #1336. That boost thing might have been going downhill for awhile and just crapped yesterday.

Clay barred and waxed the 02. Got new wipers since I broke one, but still no RF parking lamp. Not sure what to do about that.

Gave her a handwash last night, then spilled my morning coffee on her this morning. Fawk you Murphy's Law!

Gonna try and spend some more time on her this weekend; got some Surf City ClayZilla to try out.
