Jerking the wheel is the dumbest thing anyone could do. Id rather hit the dog then take a chance of ending up on my roof in a ditch.

I didn't turn hard enough to set the car sideways, just barely a 45 degree angle, and I had 4 people in the car so it was quite weighed down. Not to mention it is lowered with stiffer suspension

Stealthee, why don't you generate a ranked list of the dumbest things people can do? So we don't all have to suffer the rest of our lives.

And most insurance companies want proof of the animal you swerved to avoid. I swerve to miss a dear in my first Bronco. I did miss it, but wrote off the truck. Insurance dogged me, said because there was no fur on the vehicle, my claim will be paid less as my story can't be validated. Fawk them!

I new I should have said "priced reasonably". LOL

I bought my big fancy Olympus camera back in that day and paid $1200. I can only imagine what a small dash cam would have cost.

Fuel filter and regulator and tie rods in my 03 impala.

Fuel filter had a pinhole leak and it was pissing gas.

Turned key let the rail get pressure with new one and no leaks. The real test will be when i actually drive it. Scarred as it was pissing gas everywhere under neath. I need to clean it up around exhaust i dont wanna go up in flames.

After the humidity and fog my 06 was wet everywhere, under the hood was soaked from humidity alone. It has been 2 weeks since it was last started, so I fired it up and let it run for a while. It can't sit like this in the spring, all this humid weather and sitting would be worse than driving it as far as rust goes.

I had a lot of humidity problems here too. It snowed one day next day was 50. Opened the hood and everything was wet. Bad part is I was doing some work and plugs were out and TB was off.

Yeah, no garage problems. It's days like that cars with old spark plug wires, and especially distributors don't start in the morning. Got one of those at work today.
