What did you do to your car today? Vol 2.0

Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0

Nothing rtv cant fix lol
If it was only that easy. LOL

Brandon, I just skimmed though your tranny build. My buddy has heli-coils at his shop, and should have drain plugs, so I will make sure he hooks me up before this pan goes under the car. :th_thumb-up:

Everyone wanna know what i did to my junk boxes today?

I cried a little because I havnt seen them since june.........

That being said i havnt wrecked anything or broken anything anymore than they already are since june.........

LOL fvck my life....

At least the s1x car is sitting in the heated garage and the caged car is under a cover likely in a snow bank......

I think i might cry again poor caged car i bet its cold in that snow bank at least she got a car cover on.

Fvck now I wonder why is it I live where the air hurts my face outside for like half the year?

Fvck you winter and all that white sh1t on the ground.....

Got a P0133 the other day. Ordered up a new O2 sensor. Runs like a champ now. No more RPM see-saw during warm up.

New Denso vs. old Bosch(?)

The Denso is slightly longer, but substantially narrower.

Tons of room:

Worked on the '04 today, bloody cold outside with the wind hollowing. Got it in the shop and used a block of wood, some chains, chain binders, hammers, right angle grinder, and the wire feed and got the rad support pretty good. Started to clean up the repair area and rust around the rad support and battery tray, got some of it primed, should get it painted and done within the next few days. Also, gotta figure out how the rest of the intake box comes out. Then, to find some color-matched parts... happy the hood latch on the 6th and 7th gens are the same, had one of those.

Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0

Finally got the chance to clean/detail the inside. I fvcking hate winter and all it's junk. Feels so much better stepping into a clean car now although the outside still looks like crap. While cleaning I noticed that the drivers rocker is starting to show some surface rust at the rear dogleg so I'll be adding that to my list of things to deal with once warmer weather gets here. I guess after 16 years and 363K miles I should expect it, I just hope there is rocker left underneath the skirt...
