Monte threw a P1404(Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Closed Position Performance)and P0141( P0141 HO2S Heater Performance Bank 1 Sensor 2), I printed out a wire diagram and diagnostic step by step thing for both codes. Now I just gotta wait for my sister to bring it up for me to diagnose it, pretty sure the rear 02 needs replaced and that the EGR needs cleaned or replaced but better safe than parts cannon I guess.

Am new to this fourm and wish to get informed and help others if i can. I actually just finished putting on a remanufactured rack and pinion, crank seal, crank sensor, cam sensor, motor oil pan gasket and let me tell you it was not bad at all got me some strong jacks car in the air 19 inch off ground, awesome clearance, didn't need an engine hoist as some have mentioned to remove oil pan, just used another jack to push up on the transmission pan, unbolted the motor bones on top and up she went. I've also replace the cv axle. i've done a lot to this car 2000 grand prix gt. Still trying to get car to stay running after changing out 02 sensor (bosch plugs) but already had the parts i changed out so i went ahead and did the job - but thats for another post.

I use a big piece if wood on the trans pan, I've never dented one like that.

Used a Snap On scan tool to check for KR on my boner stock GTP (well it has a 2.5 dp) and I have questions. Oboy, here we go!

My first Q is one I have difficulty even verbalizing. Expect some kicking and screaming as I am dragged out of the carb era lol

First thing I think I need (besides searching and reading = read-searching) is somebody who understands GP EFI but also can speak in terms of what I do understand, which is carbs and distributors. Otherwise it might take me too long to translate and I'll become bored or frustrated and not learn. I know help is here. Just keep yer ears open, I'll make an ass of myself soon enough.
