Yea I know they can be reused but why would it risk it and not to slap a brand spanking new one on there.

I gave her a much needed wash.
I try to wash it as much as I can. Even though it will be dirty by the end of tomorrow.
Oil filters can go upwards of 7500 miles.
Far out! Sorry, that just spiked the ol' absurdity meter. I don't know what else to say. Ya learn something new every day here! I used to switch the 455's oil for winter but landed on straight 30W year round and no complaints. I'm in a pretty mild climate, though.
Spent more time familiarizing myself with the trusty scan tool today, in the GTP. Actually installed it's s/w on my pc so I can look at stuff better. Feels like kindergarten lol.
Idc really, a Purolator filter around here runs $3.27 plus tax. For the better filter I pay a little more, why even leave it. Conventional oil can go 5k. 3800's dirty the oil a little faster than most modern engines, so I wouldn't re-use it especially on these engines.
