We'll I'm trying to figure out the popping sound it has when it drives under highway speeds.

Two days ago I out new rotors on my gp,I was in rear using my iPhone 6 as flashlight set it on strut and forgot it there. Strut spring crushed my phone I bought two months ago. I have warranty on it 150$ and I'll have a brand new one in a couple weeks.

Was talking to myself last night and am wondering if i put the STB brackets on upside down; they have a slight curve to them, and i put the curve on the upside.

That sounds like they are upside down. The curve probably follows the strut tower's curves.

Well over the last three weeks, I have purchased new rear speakers (alpine spr69) ripped out a ghetto rigged alarm system and cleaned up some wiring, fixed a loose tensioner, installed a HAI and got an S10 PCM tray, got a ZZP 1.0 PCM, did spark plugs, oil change. now it's time to search for some GT wheels since I do not like these chrome Special Edition wheels. I need to look and see if Fikse makes some nice wheels for these cars, or maybe some forge lines.

The outside is a bit rough for a 74,000 mile car but mechanically she is decent.

When the STB was found on a car stock... (never a GP, Regals though :th_nanana:) They were simply drilled and bolted directly. I've always felt that putting another bracket in there added another point of flex and made the bar less effective (if it's actually effective at all)

I know Bill, that's what I did with my car. Put the bar down and center it, permanent mark the holes and drill away. I don't think I even cleaned off the marker when I was done. They helped a little, but probably the least out of all the suspension stuff I've done. That's fine though since I paid $5 a piece at the JY.

I'm fighting this right now. I swear I feel a difference, but I'm sure it is mental.

I hit a few windy/bumpy parts of the road on my way home last night, and she did feel tighter.

I may still remove the brackets and mount the bar "stock like".

The rear makes the biggest difference out of the 2. The ass end of these cars need all the help they can get

Ya, that's what I hear. I'm going to try and get out to a local pick-a-part yard soon to look for a rear. They also show two '04+ GP's, pics show grey interior. I see comfy '04+ seats in my future! LOL

You want your car to handle better...

Get the tubular and urethane bushing drag, toe link and lateral arms. Add an STB for total overkill like I did.

Lateral arms are all I have left to do, really. I'll upgrade to AGXs when the struts I have now go out, and I don't want coilovers.

after some googling, im just getting a new ebtcm. the one thats under my dash. its got a few loss of communication codes.

its a 97-98 part only. cause bastard years lol :th_nervous: best to be from the same year with a matching part #. the one i listed says its from a 98, so it should be good to go.

Loaded up pretty well every tool I own into the damn thing. 3 tool boxes, 12" mitre saw, compressor with hose/nail gun, bucket of mud, trowels, shop vac, 4'/2' levels the list goes on.

Damn thing is sitting on its shocks! Need to invest in a truck
