What did you do to your car today? Vol 2.0

Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0

Dang I mowed the front yard and missed a whole page! You're all pissin in the wind with DA polishers. Girls like Mary and Nancy enjoy discussing foofy pads and exchanging recipies or hair-dos. Just kidding, my equipment is geared towards fresh paint. I never get to keep shiny things long enough to maintain them, only repair. So rotary or die lol

Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0

who they gonna pay? they own the well, end of story. they may do with that water as they see fit. sell it or give it to the public, being its a company with a bottom dollar, they will well it.

theres a whole deal going on in the mid west with a water co in one state drilling sideways to the texas public water table, and steeling it, but its drilled form their property line right.....

and sadaam accused kuwait of stealing iraqi oil the same way ... see how that turned out ? ...lol

HF pads are ****.. your going to destroy them on their first use.. I know your cheap but just spending a few bucks more and get some from lake country pads and be able to reuse and reuse them after many corrections.. And yes you want to grab a 5 inch backing plate and run 5.5 pads..

if you buy the hex logic kit that i posted its like 5 bucks a pad plus you get the cleaner... HF junk is like 4 bucks...no brainer there.

In Vermont and and up north they just suck water out no payment to anyone. Often it's not owned by anyone. I learned about this in school. And I heard about that. Fracking technology it's pretty cool but scary. I've been on my fair share of rig pads this year

Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0

try only have enough water to last 1 year then tell me about water restriction
That sucks. We do have it really good here, but if we don't slow down consumption a bit, we could be in some trouble in the near future.

what kills me is california is running out of water ,they've forced restrictions on the residents , jacked up the water bills , yet the water bottling companies are STILL allowed to ship hundreds of millions of gallons of california water out of state. so tell me who the politicians REALLY represent ...
Google "nestle hope bc". Due to politics, we can't sell them the water, so we charge like $2.25 per million litres. Granted Nestle pays some taxes and gives back to the community, and they are taking groundwater, but what a deal for them!

False. Often times bottle water companies don't pay

^ This.

Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0

And did you succeed? Lmao
Nope. It's still alive. It shredded the belt and threw it off in the middle of the highway about half way through a second gear pull. I thought I blew it up but then saw the belt in my rear view mirror.

Red.. aren't you forgetting a UPW bucket? Because ... it's the shizz

Having used one personally to rich for a guy like me :) but I should of been a little clearer of course you still need to clean your pads via brush, on the fly method or in the washing machine but that's also why you try to have enough pads on hand to do the whole car or whatever panel your tackling that day without having to stop and clean them after they start to gunk up.

Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0

Put the axel seal on the cover and pinched my finger between the lip on the seal and the diff. That hurt

Re: What did you do to your Car today? Vol 2.0

Red.. if you have the bucket.. you need one pad. Plus pads don't take the abuse of being in the washing machine or hand washed which can kill them off faster.

Kyle.. must be something in the name... (Scotty's already laughing)
