Thats what i was wondering. Right now all I have is a shortblock sitting here, completely bare. How much work to put the double on? I read somewhere there may be machining involved?
I run the s1x with a stock chain and dampener. Been just dandy for 12k miles now. The 90# springs are actually harder on the dampener due to the ramp rate. Most guys run 105s and have no issues.

12499224 Valve springs (set of 16, you'll have 4 spares), and caps 10166344 (quantity 12) and run stock TC set, stock lifters, pushrods, rockers etc. Simplified reliable setup that will make 300+ wheel horsepower with headers, 3" exhaust, GenV/Northstar and the right tuning.
Can be run on 1.7 rockers on stock heads with the appropriate setup.
