What Caliper Color?

It really depends on what color scheme you are going with. I like silver and black. I have seen red and orange and both look good on silver.

I have had black and silver myself. I had black behind a chrome wheel to hide it behind the wheel. The only thing I had was a brushed aluminum grand prix decal on them to stillbe visible. Right now I have black wheels with the calipers silver to have the calipers be visible and with a black grand prix decal on them.

Paint 'em Rust color!

Honestly though, I'd say red. Yes, it's everywhere. Everyone paints it red. But ask yourself why... because it looks good, it is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. That's my $0.02.

Red or silver, thats really your only two options IMO. everything else looks rice if you dont have the whole color scheme to go with it.

Step back for a second and think about what you want.

Do you want everyone on the road to see your calipers?
Paint a bright obnoxious color. Red, Yellow etc Tell the cops I said hi.

Do you want them to blend in with the wheels?
Paint something close to the wheels you are choosing.

Do you want them to be invisible so that people look at your wheels instead of the calipers?
Paint them black. They hide nicely that way. This is always my personal choice. Looks better than rust or oxidized aluminum and doesn't attract attention.

Now your making me think twice about mine.... but I've always wanted to do a yellow/silver theme. Just didn't have the balls to pull the trigger.
Plus I have a hard enough time keeping the car clean...let alone calipers.

I vote blue, I did the 12" wbody setup and powdercoated all my stuff.

But then again, it may just be me... I really like blue with my silvermist

its a prix. its never sporty

You're such a negative person. Not even sure why you drive a GP. >_>
A dropped GTP coupe with large brakes, smooth lines, 18-20 inch wheels, and some nice vivid calipers, along with a few other details, can look sporty as hell.

it'd look GOOD.

maybe even sporty.

but its still not sporty.

its a nose heavy pig. :D

I like driving it though, its fun.

I can agree on the fun to drive part. I always ponder getting rid of the Prix simply to try something new. But I've driven so many cars, and the one car I know I am comfortable in and like to drive is my GTP. Mine in specific even. The newer ones, 2000+ with the different steering wheels? I hate that. They look better, but I don't like how they feel.
