• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What are your thoughts on SLP

98SilvermistGTP... You do understand we aren't actually digging up sewer piping to build our amazingly well performing FWI's right? What is Wizaird, k&n, AEM, and zzp piping? Plastic. More specifically, it's PVC plastic. What is the piping you so elegantly labeled "**** pipe?" PVC plastic. What is the difference? Only your opinion. :th_thumbsup-wink:

hahahaha all this makes me want to invent an intake called the S***PIPE INTAKE. labeled and all:th_laugh-lol3:

No, I dont think you are digging up **** pipe out of the yard and using it. But, most of the components people use are for it. From the roof boot(used for the vent on a **** pipe), the 3-4 inch coupler(again used in the removal of ****), and finally the pipe itself(and yes, I know the difference between types of pipe). If it works for you and you like the way it looks, so be it. I get very close to ambient temps with the Wizair so it works for me and I like the way it looks. I am in no way a ZZP leg humper, I have bashed them repeatedly for their responses on these forums.
Now, on the lighter side, would I get some royalties off these ****pipe intakes?

my tubing on my wizair tore up about the 3rd or 4th time i took it off. it was very poor quality. and it wasent that good looking either. i know have **** pipe and have no problems. why are you so anal about **** pipe?? performance wise it works better, and again you could always paint it and make it look nice. dont see what the big deal is.

I too was very unhappy about the intake tube for the wizair. I messed with it for a couple of years before getting a intake tube for the newer wizair and it is alot better. I have had it off several times since I got it and it has held up pretty well.
I used to build and remodel houses for a living. I guess from seeing its use in that application, I cant bring myself to use it. I have seen some very nice looking FWI though, especially the ones TDC made and the JMB. I will be the first one to say the choices we have are overpriced. I know there is about 30 bucks worth of material and about two hours time in making a Wizair. But, they have it, and price it and people buy it. I dont have anything against it personally, I was probably pissed off that day when I originally posted. I work with a bunch of tight ass people and it boils over sometimes:th_king-evil:

yea i hear ya, its cool. ever since i switched over to pvc my intake sounds and feels like it has a better hit to it. it made a smother, more direct path from the tb to the filter. no ridges or anything. its deff made mine perform better.
