• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

what AFR?

12.5. I'm gonna add some fuel, add some timing and drop a few pulley sizes when I get a chance to not be lazy and go tune it. Maybe aim for around 11.5. We'll see.

I was running 11.2 until today and lower 10's before that. I changed it to 11.5 today. What happens if you run too rich like I did? I only noticed it bogged me down at the end of the track.

If you get to rich that can actually cause knock. You run the risk of White washing the cylinder walls(really rich)m and diminished performance(boging like you experienced). If your gauging your AFR off of Commanded AFR that is NOT accurate one bit. You need to be looking at a wideband

So for the wideband, can I only buy the sensor without the dial and plug it directly to the tuner?

You mean without the guage? You can't just buy the sensor itself, needs a controller or power.

I'd rather have a wideband with a guage for a couple reasons:

1. To get the correct AFR setup for scanning, with the guage there you can double check to make sure the formula you entered for PID is correct, sometimes the formula may need adjusting and you don't realize your actually at a 11.2 AFR when the scan says your at a 11.9 AFR...
2. When you're not scanning it is a great tool to be looking at or to have. You could save an engine or find an issue before it starts to get worse.
