What a grand prix is worth

Just bought my 01 gtp 97k miles for $3000. In damn near mint condition about a month ago. Granted 2 days after i got it I had to change the ignition switch and fix a bad ground.

i know that bc i have a 96 gp, and in my head i think i could get about 3000 for mine but in reality, im probely only going to get about 1000-1500.

Payed 3k for my 2002 40th edition with 120,000 km. Needed an exhaust but since i did that shes perfect, needs a few little things but nothing mechanically. I've had one person offer me 5k for it since so i figure i did pretty well.

If it helps at all I just payed 6k for my 98 Daytona 500 with 67k in absolute mint shape. 5k for a normal Gtp with over 100k seems high to me, id say 4k to 4.5k sounds closer, coming from a 3-time gp owner..

^^ You must live somewhere were rust doesnt eat through cars in 4 years like around here lol. Most grand prix have no rockers anymore here.

But to answer his question better, the car is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

40th anniversary is one of my favorite gp's is it a gtp? i got 40th anniversary seats, exhaust tips, roof rails and i have the wheels to but there not on im tryna make a clone kinda but still need the trim, door panels, and shifter i got an sd hood and wing so i dont have the 40th ann. one i like my hood better but i like the 40th spoiler better the my sd

maybe if gp's are still around in 30 more years they might be worth alot if you still have one in good condition lol who knows with the way cars are getting now a days

Yep gtp I love the whine lol. I have full magnaflow catback so I have the staggered dual tips, look better then stock and sound deep and throaty too. I would kill for an sd hood, but there like 1000 after shipping to Canada. And yes I agree about the spoiler, the daytona and 40th spoiler is best for grand prixs.

Car needs a few things, the roof rails are peeling, the fuel door is hanging off, one little rust spot on fender under fuel door and it needs a wiper motor the pulse board is gone and they don't fully return to park. Other the. That the car is mint, there is one 40th in the same town as me and this guy babies it, 20% front and 5% rear tint, lowered and the paint looks amazing. One day mine will look as good lol but mine will be faster =p

Im picking up the 99 gtp for 2500$. He needs it gone and he took the price. So HAPPY. Where can i find supercharge oil that is good and not going to f up the charger? How much and how many do i need?

u check strut mounts for rust? and if there is rust behind the gas filler neck you cant see it till its to late.

$5,000 is absolutely ridiculous, no matter how rust-free it is.

I just got my first car - an '04 GP with a little over 115K on it. Rust free. Clean interior. Got it for $5200.

I scored a pretty good bargain, and I realize the model you're looking at is a GTP, but that guy's still gotta drop his price way down.

Bought my '03 in '07 with 40k on it...for $10k even out the door. They were asking $14,9xx

Bought my '98 GT last spring with 113k on it for $2200. Sold it for $3500 after I fixed a bunch of sh1t @ 128K last month.

Now...I wouldn't pay more than $12 for a WBody.
