• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Welllllllllllllllll hello hello. :)

How has everybody been? I dont know that I've posted much at all since BGPM. :-/

Work has been crazy busy, so I dont have much free time. Any free time that I do have is spent with the wife or working on things around the house.

Anyway - we bought a 07 GXP last week. Kept the 99, and the 99 will now sleep in the garage and wait for nice days only.

What has everybody else been up to? Anything new I should be aware of? :p

Im not doing much better than you man lol I keep an eye on the trans stuff and I havent had much time otherwise. Glad to see you kept the 99! Gonna make it back to Branson this year?

Nice to see ya again man. Got another GP huh? Thats cool. So what are you plans with the 99? Going further with it? Coming to Branson? Which GP will I see there?

Thanks guys. To answer a few questions:

Definately making it back to Branson.
GTO will be on hold indefinately. I am plenty happy with having the GXP and the GTP at the same time. Now I can really work on the GTP without having to worry about driving it to work the next morning. :p
Not sure how much further I am wanting to go with the 99. OK... I really do want to go further with it, but I'm happy with it now. Just wish it had a little more top-end. I need to do a complete re-tune and see where I stand. A GenV would be sweet if my IC was for a genV, but its not. Turbo is always an option, but even after selling all my current stuff, I would have to fork out at least $1K cash for a C/T setup.

Not in the budget. I'd rather drive the car as is, and have the GXP for a daily driver. :)

edit: No clue what is making it to Branson. It would be awesome to have me drive the 99 and have Jess drive the GXP, but who knows. Would also be sweet to tow the 99 down there with our SS, but I'll just have to see how it works out as the time gets closer.

We both need to get off our asses and mod our SS'! I keep putting it off, it dying for a CAI + Tune!

You keep telling me it's your wife's. :th_nanana:

Rocketman69 (You probably met him in Branson) on here has a 2wd one with a cam, longtubes and a tune. It's vicious and a lot of fun!

Oh yeah, you might get a kick out of his license plate too. LOL!

I don't know if you have seen yet or not, but someone finally did an M6 swap. See link in signature. But yeah, I am in pretty much the same boat as you are. I don't really have much time for this forum.

Modding the SS would be tits if it was mine, but alas, I promised the wife I would leave it alone. If anything is going to be done to it, it will be something that SHE wants done... not me.

A tune would help out a ****load, but she has enough fun with the thing as it is. :th_biggrin2:

LOL! Women are suppose to be the boss right (so they think)? I know you have a boss so you have no room to talk... HAHAHA:th_laugh-pointup::th_nanana:

Seriously though it is ours and it was a compromise for something we both wanted and liked. She wanted a small SUV for future family plans (she liked the Envoys), I wanted an LS2/A4 05-06 GTO. We met right in the middle and we're both happy!

She got her SUV (got all the options), I got my LS2 (made sure it was 2WD w/ 4.11s). Plus it looks damn good too! I have to say, I was never an SUV guy, but that thing is pretty damn cool. Its pretty much a garage queen now only coming out on nice weekends! LOL :th_scratchhead:

Really? I probably did met him, I didn't know there were other SS owners there other than shaferz. With a cam, headers, and a tune it makes those things deep into the 12s. I'd love to do that. I'm thinking once the 3/36k expires throwing a set of heads and a nice lumpy cam. Then again I wanna keep the 5/100 since its the newest vehicle I've ever owned. I donno. I definatly plan on a CAI/Tune soon. It has the resonator removed, stock muffler removed with a 40 Series 2 chambered Flowmaster in its place. Sounds pretty damn good, I get compliments everywhere I drive. Its loud.

Kick ass plate, LOL. I wish they would let me get the plate "WTF" :th_biggrin2:

LOL, I think you need to break that promise! Come on, it'll be worth it. You can't tell me she won't enjoy the extra grunt/power. :th_biggrin2::th_peaceout:

I cannot wait to do a tune! I hate the torque managment on this thing even with stabilitrack off! That and the drive by wire TB. No matter what I can feel a delay, same thing I felt on the LS2 GTOs. I heard a good PCM takes care of all the bull****, I cannot wait!
