• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Well I changed the coolant elbows and since I had it laid up decided why not put on that sway bar I got off that police cruiser, so I undo that tie rod ends slipped it in put it back together. Took it for a ride and it was shaking, bucking like all hell, I decided since it had been sitting since march it just needed to run a bit so I kick it up figure I will knock it loose, it gets to 80 mph and a lot of vibrations, then
I remember I got called away when putting it back to get back together, and I only tightened the castle nuts two turns, and obviously no cotter pins. So we slowdown get off at the exit and head back Home S-L-O-W-L-Y. Apparently those things are very important.

umm the whole measure twice cut once thing, that's check check and recheck when it comes to turning a wrench! My question is why so fast if you could feel the vibration?

Well not sure if I was lucky think it was more like God was saying; "no not yet,."
As for why so fast I know you will not believe this but the vibration would calm down and then it would feel like either the tranny did not want to shift, or some thing like a caliper was stuck, figured I could kick it loose. If I gunned it it would clear up a bit, and the is the part that has me going what the hell?
