Courage under Fire

XXXXX had courage under fire during an attack in which he alerted all of XXXX's personnel (the attack was at XXXX hours), XXXXX went room to room to look for personnel that did not hear warnings. XXXXX also found time to get in contact with XXXXX's personnel
XXXXX made contact with the Military forces for guidance while consoling individuals that had not experienced this type of situation before, creating a calming effect on them.

XXXX efforts impacted the morale of all XXXX employees and made a bad situation into a safe and stress free environment.

Through his efforts he stayed in touch with XXXXXX through the night working on a better accountability and alert system for the betterment of XXX and XXX personnel at XXXXXXX (undisclosed location)

This goes out to My Friend XXXXXXXX. He works for XXXXXX in (undisclosed location)...he has been there for XXX years away from his family in XXXXXXX. He gets to see them a few times a year on vacation. for no more than a week or so at a time. He misses them dearly but knows he is providing a better life for them than they could afford if he had stayed there, and he longs for the day when he can return home. XXXXX is a true friend of mine in every sense of the word. I talk with him when I can, and think of him often (especially his safety).

So Here is to you XXXX...Have a Happy and SAFE Thanksgiving...I miss you my friend.

When he returns from XXXX location I will be free to post the full tribute up...till then this is the best I can do as a tribute to him and all his devotion and sacrifices for his family and this country!

With what I have read here, I'm glad to see that he is making a better life for himself and his family. It really sucks he has to be away from his family for so long, I did for 18 months, but sometimes you have to give a little more to receive great things.

Yeah, I am hopeful he will be able to finally go home to his family for good in the coming year or so....he has sacrificed a lot to provide a better life for his wife and kids...he deserves to be able to enjoy it himself at some point and time.

over the past few years i have ran into alot of people like Mr.XXXXX, and i still dont know how they stay away from their families for that long. 3 9mnth trips for me is enough. hope a safe return for Mr. XXXXX and thank him for all that he does
