• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Got the Devils Own 3800 kit ordered up. Few questions about it. I have been looking at Iron's install thread and he is running it though the TB spacer. Would I be better off spraying it after the blower? Getting another LIM and drilling and tapping a hole on the front and rear so I get even spray? Alot of work yes but I think it would be worth it.

I have read spraying it pre-blower seals up the rotors better and you get 1-2lbs of boost out of it. Also have heard it can strip the coating off the rotors? Any truth to that?

Another thing what mix would be best to run? Windsheild washer fluid? Or get some Meth from a local dealer :th_skull: or order some up from Devils own?

Thanks Guys.

it will not strip the coating off, we've put countless kits on cars and they are fine. i would run 100% meth, i do it in my car

if you dont mind me asking how much the kit ran you?

if you spray preblower then for sure run straight meth. that is what im doing right now.

if you run it after the blower in the LIM it might help you to run a 50/50 mix for added cooling.

Kit was 330$ with the GPForums (GPFalky 10% discount). Plus a solonoid to prevent it from sucking meth out under vacum was 45$ and 4 gallons of premixed meth was 30$.

Am I going to be hurting anything spaying Devils Own Brew I think its a 48h20/52meth mix though the blower?

I'm running the DevilOwn Brew which is damn near 50% Meth. I'm also running a DO5 nozzle too. Course my setup is a bit diffferent than yours.

I'm running Brew because Chance is similiarly modded as I am and I'm shooting for the same times he accoplished with his setup. Hoping I can do it, I need more tuning though. For what little tuning i've actully done, i've very pleased with the results.

Hell, you didn't need that solonoid. The DO kit already comes with a one way check valve. You wouldn't of sucked fluid under vacuum with that setup, trust me. I've had great luck with mine....

Good to hear Iron. What about tuning for this setup? Just run it as is incase I run out of meth be on the safe side?

Another thing iron. Are you running this though the stock washer tank? And did you tap into the low level sensor on that? How much meth is left when the low level sensor is triggered?

With my nozzle size and 50/50 mix on my original Tune my car ran WAY richer.... around 10.5 at WOT. I had to back down the fuel a bit. All I did was use my ICCU and leaned out my fuel a bit to around 11.5-11.7 at WOT. Once I got my fueling where I wanted I dropped down to a 2.9" pulley and raised my timing up +2 degrees at WOT via ICCU. I'm still playing with it somewhat. I need to get my code redone so I can 0 out my ICCU again.

So with the tune you have now and your alky setup you'll probably run a bit richer which could make you're car slower. You'll need someway to control this to optimize your setup...

Yes, i'm using my stock washer tank. I haven't had mine too low yet but from what I can tell there will be a good amount of fluid left over when the low warning is triggered. If you get to that point, i'd strongly recommend to quit playing and refill your tank. You won't use as much of it as you think, at least I don't and I get on my car all the time.

Some tips to touch on here regarding Methanol.

On lightly modded cars, start with a small nozzle if you run the brew or washer fluid. Most cars with a 3.4 would probably take a DO3 and be happy. Heavier modded cars will take a DO5 or equal most likely.

The more potent the mix, the more you're gonna need. Remember, you're just trying to quench the KR, not drown it. It is still water mixed in there, and too much will be like running on a 100% humidity day. Don't over do it, but be careful.

Good advice.

I have HPTuners available to me so tuning is not an issue. I play on dropping a pulley size once we get the injection set up. Does the kit come with both the D03 and D05 nozzle?

i bought mine from a guy who never used it, but all i had in mine were D05s which ended up being right about where i wanted to be with my setup anyway.

Glade everyone likes it. We try hard to make a good kit. Kit comes with a do3 and do5 nozzle. Which should cover a stock gtp power levels up to 400hp. Guys making more power will need to let us know and we can provide larger jets.

Do these kits come with detailed installation instructions?

Yes they do, plus you have more room to hide everything like I did on my GTP. Surely you've seen my write up/pics? If you follow my write up and or the DO instructions, you'll be in good shape. Theres nothing to it really...
