Weird sound coming from belts

Over the passed few weeks every now and then my motor will make this weird "chittering" noise which sounds like its coming from the pulleys/belts. It seems to do it when it is wet outside which is really weird. At times it will sound fine, then the sound will come back and its pretty noticeable. As the rpms go up, the noise becomes more rapid. The car runs/drives fine either way; just curious as to what might be causing it. Any thoughts?

Pulley's...check them...specifically the alternator, and idlers. Also, you can yank off the blower belt and run it to see if the sound is there...and if it is still there...then you've knocked out the entire supercharger accessory system.

I don't think it is the alternator pulley because when I listen closely with the hood up it sounds like its coming from a pulley below the supercharger. I hope its just an idler pulley.

pull your belt off and check all of your pullies, spin them, try and wiggle them around, feel if the bearings are going.

I have a 99 GTP thts superchargered and it does the same things, i have a bearing in the supercharger, and the iderler pulley thts getting bad, about how much would it cost to get the supercharger fixed? or can i buy a rebuild kit tht i can do myself?

Lol I had a noise and it was my s/c, mechanic says the case is cracked, local boosted guys say it's internal bearings. Search my posts I have a vid up of the noise
