Weight Loss or Weight Gain Thread "2012"

Nice. Come join me in the former fatty club, we can flap are loose skin around together.
Haha, Oh, I'm still fat, I'm just strong-fat now. Been cruising the same bf% for months, but strength gains are constant. Currently deciding between caloric reduction and thermogenics to bust it down. Since it's getting cold, I'm thinking I'd mind the thermogenics a whole lot less... and I love my diet.

$1.30/dose? Balls, dude. If you haven't tried mono, I'd suggest it, as it'll help the wallet and you can usually get a small container with a month's supply for like $8. You might get the exact same gains for a fraction of the cost.

As is the price of convenience

In checking out that stuff (KreAlkalyn), looks like it's just pH-altered mono to reduce/eliminate upset stomachs from mono. That actually sounds pretty okay to me, though I'd try to find a cheaper version. And 90% of the market is cheaper than GNC every time.

Edit: Found one, cheapest on AllStarHealth I could find. $0.17/serving, one less cap to swallow/serving, and 450mg more KreAlkalyn/serving. You kids gotta stop buying junk from GNC.

GNC is convenient, admittedly, if you use it right. Mine will price match the protein (or anything) I buy online, so I can drop in if I forgot to order and run out.

I might start up on mono again then buy those caps to compare... two caps is way more convenient than a scoop.

That's because everything in California has to warn you that it might somehow be carcinogenic. I'm guessing the dyes, Looking into it.

Checked the FD&C Blue #1. 95% of it passes through the digestive tract, making green doodie. There's clearly not much in only two caps, but noted nonetheless (also, now I know why those blue cupcakes did that).
In checking the list, I see that 2-Naphthylamine is labelled carcinogenic, and it can be used to manufacture FD&C Red #40. So maybe that's why the warning's there. Seems to me like you'll get cancer from touching synthetic motor oil before you get it from a commonly-occurring dye.

Thanks guys. I've gained about 7lbs back and its really pissing me off but it's so damn cold out lately i don't feel like doing anything. I need to get out and run again. Having a hard time getting back in the rhythm with that too. I will give the protein shake and fiber bars a try before bed.

all i did this weekend was work on the roof of my house redoing the shingles. went on a bender because i didn't give a ****.

I already declared that if the power goes out, I'll work out.
100 pushups, then, 200 situps, then 300 air squats. Then stripping down, soaping up, and walking out into the rain with a beer.

Maybe if you did the "Hellicopter" fast enough outside you could even get an arial view of the hurricane mess. :p

I haven't been to motivated to go out and exercise since it's been below 40*.

I'll ask around the apartment complex to see if anyone has some acid, because that might work.

As far as exercising outside in the cold is concerned, I used to just bundle up because a manly man gets his ass out there. For a while I trained in a park with a group of people that went out two days a week every week year round. Some of them were women.
