Weight Loss or Weight Gain Thread "2012"

I need to drop 20 by the end of the summer. I love my rollerblading but i gotta get rid of this damn gut. I've dropped 51 so far but i keep teetering. I was down to 215 but now upto 217ish. Any suggestions? I'm watchin my calories and I try to get at least a 30 min exercise in 4 times a week. Usually a 5 mile ride on my rollerblades in 30-45 mins.

Watching? If you're not counting every kcal it might be time to be more strict. I'm not saying that 1kcal is going to make a difference but if your guesstimating you may be consuming too much.

It's probably about time for you to recalculate your intake anyways. After dropping 50 lbs (high five) your TDEE has surely changed. It sucks but you might have to cut calories to keep your deficit nice and plump.

he's on myfitnesspal. he counts his calories on there.

i havent opened mine in a while, might have to start counting agian. however, im not really in it to lose weight anymore..

Myfitnesspal is awesome. I count there too. You don't have to lose weight while counting. You can count to maintain or bulk as well

May I suggest visiting bodybuilding.com they are super awesome. Read them stickies and you'll be in good shape to get in good shape.

i went for a run last night. haven't done it in a while since the wedding stuff. it wasn't the best run i've ever done, but i held a solid 10 minute/mile pace for 1.7 miles before i decided to walk around the block once to cool down.

Got home last night from an 11 hour work day, sat down, preparing mentally to cook. Then my mother says I'm making bacon egg and cheeses you want one. I got up zapped a few things with MFP and had a greasy delicious bacon egg n cheese that fit in my kcals.

Some times it pays off to still be in the nest.

i've been making some pretty bomb omeletes every morining lately. 3 eggs, ground meat, peppers, onion, tomatoes, bit of cheese. makes mornings a bit better :)

I bet. I bought some new running shoes this afternoon. New Balances. Pretty pleased with them to say the least. I paid too much, but they are pretty comfy!

start out running slow and shoot for a longer time spent running. you'll still get tired, but you'll stress your body more because you're doing it for longer.

once you get bored with that, then start going faster. for a while there i was down to 8:30 miles which is pretty quick for me. now im back to 10:00 miles...sad.

Ripped four callouses off and bled all over the pullup bar (then more doing deadlifts) this morning. Guess I won't be doing those for a while. As an aside, the alcohol in cleaning wipes doesn't get along with freshly rent flesh.

Use sandpaper, a pedi egg, or a cheap dollar store pedi grindy doohicky. It really works, except when you go four weeks without using it like me. Don't be like me.

Ate at Texas Roadhouse twice this week and managed to stay under my cals both days. Ugh i hate not eating those delicious rolls.
