Weight Loss or Weight Gain Thread "2012"

P.S. The Kris Gethin 12 week program can be found on Bodybuilding.com and it is completely free. Although it has recommendations for supplements to use to get the best results. It also has a video every day that he does this so it's like your going through this transformation with him. The work outs start to get more challenging and intense but that's how the weight comes off. This is the best plan I've done so far and it is easy to stay on track with his daily videos. Hope some of you guys try it. Definitely worth it.

At 214lbs as of this morning. I'm really struggling figuring out what I want to do.

Do I continue down to 200lbs and bulk back up to my current weight or do I start a bulk right now? I honestly think I look a little to thin when looking at the current pic

What type of BF% would you guys guess I'm at now? Was shooting for low teens possibly 10% but I don't know if that's such a good thing

Both photos are unflexed natural poses. I feel like I don't look 214lbs at all.

Solid work there, Benner.
If you're going leaner, I'd keep going in that direction instead of "bulking." Being big for the sake of being big is a dumb decision. The expense in shirts alone makes it prohibitive! But seriously, I now prefer actual health over a goal appearance... probably means I'm getting old.

I completely understand what you're saying. I like being the bigger more intimidating guy in the group, plus my girl loves the muscles as do I. The photo last year was in an XL shirt. This one today is in a Large.

i will most likely wear an XL, even when im in that area just because i like how they fit. nothing wrong with throwing on a large every now and then, though.

youre an inspiration, homie.

LOL! Meh either way your exercise inspires me dude! I've been kinda lax lately. Although i have been doing things around the house.

have been doing good, down 8lbs since the beginning of the month. Going to start biking to work now that is nice out.

I gained about 5 pounds since october last year. Went from 135 to about 140.

That is from doctors office scales to home scales tho. Could vary. Not that I couldn't stand to gain a bit though. I'm 5'11 1/2" and lanky as hell.

Need to start working out tho.
