Pontiac Racer

i love my 2001 Grand Prix GT. what are ways i can customize it without dropping more than $20 on stuff. i already have plans of smoking the head and tail lights, getting a GT emblem off another can and putting it on the front grill. what else could i do cheaply. i already have leather, heated seat, on star, 4 door. any ideas? i also want to put a vinyl pontiac decal on the window but its too cold to do that now

If you want to stand out in a good way, just keep it clean and shiny.
if you want the other way, do the stick on stuff
All the GPs around here look like piles

flipping the dog bone bushings makes your engine move less, translating more power to the wheels.

i'd look into the rear Pontiac inlays. i think it makes the back of the car look good. check out reflectiveconcepts

Rear inlays are a must! Just keeping your car clean will help it look good. So many of the 97-03 Grand prixs around here are rusted out. Even the 04+ GPs are rusting out.

if my car is silver, what type of paint do i use. normal silver or color matched paint like touch up paint
As a fellow Galaxy Silver Metallic GP owner I am going to tell you right now that you must use Galaxy Silver Metallic WA519F, and unless you have whatever you are painting computer matched and blended it will never look right(someone replaced my drivers side fender on my car and it doesn't have the same luster as the rest of the car, it even looks grey from certain angles). As far as what kind of paint don't use those touch up paint pens they never look right, I would try some Duplicolor from a parts store. If you have access to a paint gun automotive paint would probably be best bet.

Nothing makes a car stand out in a better way than keeping it clean and nice. Friends will comment when they get in at how clean it is ...inside and out. You are likely to get mixed reviews on adding stickers and any other things you do, but a clean car will only get compliments.

Big Pontiac decals on the windows is a no-no. Makes it look kinda ricey. Pretty sure there is a cheap mod thread floating around here somewhere.
