• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Water Pump



did you put thread sealant on the 4 large bolts? they go right into the water jacket of the block and will leak if not sealed.

and the matting surfaces need to be clean, like scrapped down with a razor blade clean, no old gasket material can be left on.

i put my new water pump gasket on dry, no rtv at all and its holding fine.
 


my bolts came out all gunked up from the old sealant, so i cleaned mine up and resealed them. better safe than doing it 2 times.
