ummm I didnt need to do any of this. not sure what u broke but I just took the pulley off. are you talking about power steering or idler?

s/c idler pulley, ps was easy just 2 bolts

all the other pulleys have bolts for the most part, but the one i need to get off, uh yeah epic fail gm on using t50 torx...

if anyone knows which way to turn that t50 bolt to unscrew it it would be a great help cause clockwise (reverse thread) apparently was not the answer...

ouch buddy ummm I'd say DRILL but it's not that convient down there...I wonder if you take the wheel off and the plastic cover if it would be low enough to get a drill in there...

other than that i'm clueless...goodluck

you can't work on it where it is, as you can see there's no room.

the only reverse bolt know of is on the assy belt idler.

you can try and use a left handed drill bit. but dont use an easy out. your gunna have to take that bracket off to do this. its gunna be a fun job. and im not talking easy

what about a tap and die set, if i used the smallest one , put a screw in it and pulled on the screw with some pliers?

its either gunna have to be done with a left hand bit and it will actually help it turn the bolt out when your drilling the bit in there. and if that doesnt work then your gunna have to resort to drilling it out and retapping it

hmmm...what about a heli coil ? lol make some threads on the broke piece, lock ur bolt in and snatch it out.

guess thats kinda the same thing u said with a screw...lol

those bolts are like impossible to get to (i got the upper right one to move that's it), esp the one on the bottom, how did u get to them?

I know I did it without much trouble but it was so long ago I have no idea how I did it.

you're talking about the pulley down to the right (looking at the motor) at the framerail?

I borrowed one of those hematite magnet rocks from my neighbor's fridge put it next to the t50 bolt and ting, broke t50 piece came right out, pretty unorthodox fix, exchanged the socket and turned it the other way and easy goings from there on out

just finishing scraping off the old gasket, it was old, cracked and was like fused to the metal, prob helped the leak a lot lol

just taking a break since it is like 10 deg outside, fiance made me some hot chocolate
